Lord mayoral hopeful Peter McMullin might have scored an excellent coup with John So’s highly regarded chief of staff Kevin Louey indicating he might join McMullin’s team running in November’s council election.

Since when has Louey been highly regarded. He has been scamming the system for years. Free Overseas Trips to China some paid for by the Chinese Government and others by the City Council. Many trips have not been disclosed on the City Council’s Travel; register as Louey seeks to avoid accountability. If anything Louie’s involvement with Peter McMullin will bring more scrutiny and exposure to the roots in the City Council.

Robert Doyle’s nomination is looking better day by day. It is time to out an end to the corruption in Town Hall and McMullin is not the solution. His term of office back in 1996 was one of the blackest most corrupt periods in the City’s history.

  2. GET RID OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT

The corruption and sex scandals plus stupid decisions that continue to surround Local government particularly at Melbourne, Whitehorse, Brimbank and Casey are the reason I believe we should get rid of the 3rd tier of government, and just have Federal and State Governments.

Federal and State governments are made accountable through TV, radio and print media.

local government has little accountablity through local papers.

Now mainly thanks to this website we see some of them exposed
